The linen discharge is set at the bottom of linen chutes to allow exiting of laundry. The door is held open by springs and fusible link(s), which will close in the event of fire preventing further spread of the fire through the chute. The door comes with one (slam latches) as well, allowing the door to be closed for bin switching or maintenance work
